Physical Fitness and Physical Examination: In order to be initially nominated, the applicant must first participate in the physical measurement and physical examination in person at the place and time mentioned in the recruitment notice. Candidates who pass the physical test will be given admission card and will be informed about the place and time of written test.

Written Test: Candidates who are successful in physical fitness and physical test will have to give a written test of 40 marks. Written exams are usually 90 minutes long. Candidates will be considered to have passed the written test if they get 45% marks. However, out of those who will be at the top of the merit list, only the shortlisted candidates will be nominated for the next examination.

Bangladesh Police SI Job Circular 2021 Eligibility for application

To apply for the post of SI of Bangladesh Police, a candidate must have passed at least a bachelor’s or equivalent examination. Must be proficient in computer operation as other qualifications. Applicants for the post of SI must be permanent citizens of Bangladesh and unmarried. If a married candidate applies for the post of SI by keeping the information related to the marriage secret, he will have to face legal issues later.

Age limit of application

The age of general candidates should be between 19-27 years and in case of children of freedom fighters it should be between 19-32 years.

Physical fitness

In order to apply for the post of SI, the height of male candidates should be at least 5 ‘4 “inches, chest size 30” in normal condition and 32 “in extended condition. In case of female candidates, minimum height of 5 ‘2 “is mandatory.

Police Sergeant Job Circular 2021

Bangladeshi permanent male and female candidates can apply for the post of Police Sergeant. Notice of appointment is usually published in various national dailies. Notices published can also be found at www.police.gov.bd. Only qualified candidates mentioned in the notification can apply.

Eligibility of application

To apply for the post of Sergeant of Bangladesh Police, the candidates have to pass at least a bachelor’s or equivalent examination from a government approved university. Must also be proficient in motorcycle driving and computer operation.

The age for all the candidates should be 19-27 years. Only date of birth mentioned in SSC or equivalent certificate will be considered as acceptable.

Physical fitness

In case of male candidates, height should be 5 ‘8 “, chest size should be 32” in normal condition and 34 “in extended condition. The height for female candidates should be at least 5 ‘4 “. Both females and males must match the weight, age and height of the candidate.

Other qualifications

Only unmarried and Bangladeshi citizen candidates are eligible to apply. Divorced candidates are ineligible to apply. Candidates must remain unmarried during the apprenticeship period. Apart from this, the candidates should be proficient in motorcycle and computer operation.

Application process

Candidates who have passed the physical aptitude test have to collect the application form on the same day and apply. Written test number of 250 is done. Of these, 100 marks are in Bengali and English subjects. 100 marks in general knowledge and arithmetic and 50 marks in psychology.
